Paul Bissonnette, better known as “Biz Nasty” to his fans, is no stranger to taking hits. As a former NHL enforcer and a current co-host of the wildly popular Spittin’ Chiclets podcast, he’s built a career on toughness, banter, and charisma. But in a shocking twist, Bissonnette found himself at the center of a brawl in Scottsdale, Arizona, that’s raising eyebrows across the hockey world.

The Incident: A Scottsdale Showdown

On November 18, 2024, Bissonnette was reportedly “jumped” by a group of seven men while dining at an upscale restaurant in Scottsdale. According to Bissonnette, the confrontation began when he attempted to intervene in an altercation involving another patron. What followed was a melee that left him bruised but unbroken, both physically and in spirit.

The Scottsdale Police Department confirmed an investigation is underway, as covered by Fox 10 Phoenix. Bissonnette has since spoken out about the incident, joking on his podcast that it was like “taking on a full line shift without a stick.” He claims he was caught off guard but managed to fend off most of the attackers until security stepped in.

From NHL Fights to Restaurant Rumbles

If there’s anyone who knows how to handle a physical confrontation, it’s Paul Bissonnette. But hockey fights are one thing. A seven-on-one restaurant brawl is quite another. “This wasn’t a staged face-off at center ice,” Bissonnette quipped during an interview with Outkick. “It was chaos.” He admitted that the sheer numbers overwhelmed him, even with his enforcer background. “I might be retired, but I’m still not an easy guy to take down.”
