So UConn, the two-time champs, hit the court, and what do they do? They lose their cool, and then they lose the game! Coach Dan Hurley was so mad he dropped to his knees over a call that was about as questionable as a two-dollar bill, and trust me, that’s saying something. The refs had more whistles than a kid’s soccer game, and Hurley got a technical foul for his theatrics — I mean, c’mon! Four free throws for Memphis just because the coach had a moment of ‘what the heck!’ UConn was supposed to be tough, but they looked softer than a marshmallow in a hot chocolate. They were down by 13, then made a comeback that had everyone on the edge of their seats, but alas, they just couldn’t seal the deal. And Memphis? They were loving it, calling it their biggest win! UConn, you gotta get it together, or it’s gonna be a long season of ‘what could’ve been.’
