So, here we go again, folks! West Virginia University just decided to throw the old coach out like yesterday’s garbage and bring in offensive coordinator Chad Scott to save the day. It’s like swapping out a bad tire on your car and hoping the spare will hold up long enough to get you to the next gas station. Neal Brown, the guy with a 37-35 record, was shown the door, and now Scott, who’s been around since 2019, is supposed to magically transform this 6-6 team into bowl game champions. They say he’s a strong leader; well, I hope he’s also a magician because they’ll need some serious sleight of hand to pull off anything spectacular. And let’s face it, the Mountaineers are just hoping for a decent bowl game now – maybe something like the Armed Forces Bowl, where they can at least pretend they had a winning season. It’s college football, folks! Where dreams go to get crushed and the drama is thicker than the fog on a mountain morning.
